Menu spaustuve/Arts printing House – contemporary performing arts venue in Vilnius, Lithuania. Main activities: we program three international festivals – HELIUM, SPOT, KITOKS, and run the international residency program 'Footprints in motion'. Organisation focuses on the development of contemporary circus, street theatre/art in public space and contemporary performing arts for a young audience.
Arts Printing House was established in a former printing house dating back to 1585. Since 2002 it is an umbrella organisation for non-governmental arts organisations and is still the only venue covering the contemporary performing arts field (dance, circus, theatre, etc.) in Vilnius.
Since 2006 Arts Printing House has been organising the international contemporary circus festival – HELIUM (former NEW CIRCUS WEEKEND) which happens every September.
Since 2010, Arts Printing House has been inviting international performing artists to participate in a residency programme ‘Footprints in motion’, to develop their projects, collaborate with local profesionals, connect with the community and present their work.
Since 2012 every January an international festival for young audiences – KITOKS – brings unusual forms of performing arts to the venue.
In 2018 an international street theatre festival SPOT took over Vilnius streets and parks in the middle of July. It aims to fill the summer days and nights with a unique art form that comes straight to the people and present talented creators from Lithuania and abroad.
