Teatronas

Teatronas works in the field of theatre and contemporary circus. It is one of the main organisations in Lithuania that strategically develops the field. It opened the first and only centre for contemporary circus named ‘Cirko Sapiens’, which allows artists to come back to the country after their studies, have a place for constant training, opened the opportunity for circus education and international residencies.

The international contemporary circus festival ‘Cirkuliacija’ happens each year in another neighbourhood of Kaunas. The main goal of the festival is to bring cultural events of the highest quality to territories that have no cultural events at all.  The organisation adapts spaces into temporary cultural hubs and present international production in the middle of nowhere. Each edition has something new to say and the themes of the upcoming editions are:
